1.5 hour train ride from the city of love to the city of sweets. It was a quick and sweet trip to Brussels. I got few recommendations and thumbs up experiences during my ‘almost’ 2 days stay in this beautiful city.
We stayed at Marivaux Hotel. They have spacious rooms. Close to everything!
Chez Papy’s Belgian Frites! Don’t leave Brussels without trying their fries. See all that line? 🙂
Of course! Leaving Brussels without trying their waffles is a sin. You can find waffles for as cheap as 1 euro! To die for!
I would totally be biased because of my supermarket obsession. I hoarded all of these chocolates, frozen fries and waffles. :))
Mathilde Chocolate shop. Prepare a good space in your luggage for tons of chocolates and jams.
Chez Leon! Two words: So good!!!!
The Chocolate Museum. One of the best museum I’ve been because of chocolate overload. Free chocolates from all around the world. Plus, a short course of chocolate process.
Manneken Pis. Bronze sculpture of a little boy urinating in a fountain. Belgian humor, it is! 🙂
Atomium. One of the famous landmark in Belgium.
St. Nicholas Church within the vicinity of the Grand- Place.
Grand-Place. A nice place to chill and be amused while standing or sitting in the middle of these fantastic view.
Include Brussels in your next trip! 😊
Always,
Gwendolyn 💕
